Anxiety Toolbox Workshop (ATW)

Anxiety Toolbox Workshop is a 3-session workshop on understanding anxiety and ways to manage it. This workshop will focus on how to spot anxiety, increase awareness of patterns that affect anxiety, and develop alternative ways to respond to anxiety. Multiple workshops will take place over the course of the semester, and also are offered virtually and in person.

Strategies for Managing Stress and Incorporating Self-Care

In this workshop we will discuss symptoms of stress and evidence based means for stress reduction. Students will be introduced to helpful tools and techniques. They will be able to engage in experiential practices to begin to discover what means are most helpful to them to manage stress levels. This workshop is currently scheduled to meet once during the fall 2023 semester.

Stronger Together

Stronger Together is a 2-session workshop that provides participants with a safe space to discuss common obstacles that women of color may face at Brown and learn skills known to be helpful in managing self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. Members will focus on feeling connected with themselves and others using mindfulness, self-compassion, and community building.

Navigating Interpersonal Relationships

This one-hour workshop focuses on increasing your understanding of navigating interpersonal relationships in a healthy and effective manner. You are welcome to share your experiences and concerns with the group. We can help you find ways to manage these concerns as well as identify effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
