Programs and Outreach

CAPS outreach and programming is an extension of care to the broader campus community. We value and strive for outreach and program initiatives that are social justice minded, developmentally timely, and that work to decrease disparities in help-seeking and increase knowledge for holistic wellness. CAPS outreach strives to support the mental health needs of the Brown community through engaging and innovative approaches.

Current Programs and Outreach

The B.E.A.R. Project is a training run by CAPS at Brown to help members of our community identify and support students in distress.
Students can gain support through a clinical or support group led by CAPS therapists to address a variety of mental health needs.
