Students can build skills and connect with others through workshops led by CAPS therapists.
The following list reflects the current semester workshop offerings.
Paws with Willow
Students are invited to sign up for a 10-minute visit with Willow, the credentialed therapy dog in CAPS on Fridays from 3-4pm in the Health and Wellness Center during the Spring 2026 Semester.

"I shouldn't be feeling this way" : Understanding Your Reactions to the December 13th Tragedy
A live webinar for all Brown students facilitated by CAPS psychotherapists Jennifer Dunbar Yrigoyen, LICSW and Michele Zager, PsyD
In this interactive workshop facilitators will provide psychoeducation and guide participants in developing a care plan for themselves to aid in healing and and recovery in the aftermath of the December 13th tragedy.
Webinar goals:
- Understand common stress reactions and learn adaptive coping strategies
- Learn steps that you can take to enhance emotional and physical safety on campus
- Recognize the importance of social connection for healing
- Increase awareness of campus resources for support
There are two options to choose from Jan. 29th 1:30pm-2:30pm and Feb. 4th 10:00am-11:00am.
