B.E.A.R. Project Training for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
September is Suicide Prevention Month, and in recognition of this, CAPS if offering opportunities for the Brown community to participate in a B.E.A.R. Project Training. This training is typically available by request, but in the spirit of raising awareness and promoting suicide prevention, we're making this training more widely accessible.
The B.E.A.R. Project, run by CAPS, is designed to help members of the Brown community recognize and support those in distress. Our goal is to empower you with the skills and confidence to respond compassionately and effectively to those who may be struggling.
There are two faculty/staff sessions, and two student session offerings.
