Anxiety Toolbox Workshop (ATW)
Anxiety Toolbox Workshop is a 3-session workshop on understanding anxiety and ways to manage it. This workshop will focus on how to spot anxiety, increase awareness of patterns that affect anxiety, and develop alternative ways to respond to anxiety. Two series will take place over the course of the fall 2024 semester, and also are offered virtually.
Strategies for Managing Stress and Incorporating Self-Care
In this workshop we will discuss symptoms of stress and evidence based means for stress reduction. Students will be introduced to helpful tools and techniques. They will be able to engage in experiential practices to begin to discover what means are most helpful to them to manage stress levels. This workshop is currently scheduled to meet once during the fall 2024 semester.

SAO’s Diversity Inclusion & Equity Series: Supporting the Mental Well-Being of Your Organization
Attend an insightful discussion facilitated by Corey Martin Fitzgerald, Psychotherapist and LMHC from CAPS, exploring the critical topic of mental well-being within growing student organizations and addressing both collective and individual needs. This workshop is scheduled for October 15, 2024, from 12-1pm, and will be hosted in the Petteruti Lounge. Lunch provided! No registration needed!
SAO’s Diversity Inclusion & Equity Series: Understanding Anti-Fatness & Weight Stigma
In this session, we’ll deconstruct how socio-cultural issues shape anti-fatness, weight stigma, diet culture, and healthism, and discuss how to advocate for a weight-inclusive, socially just Brown community that is safe for all sizes. Facilitated by CAPS Psychotherapist Chonlada Jarukitisakul. This workshop is scheduled for October 29, 2024, from 12-1pm, and will be hosted in the Petteruti Lounge. Lunch provided! Global Mingle: Holidays Without Borders
Living and studying in a foreign country can be an exciting experience, but it can also be accompanied by challenges, especially during the holiday season when many international students may miss home. GBC and CAPS are excited to build a warm and supportive community to share resources, tips and upcoming holiday events that are tailored for international students and help students navigate the holiday season with ease and joy. This workshop is scheduled for November 19, 2024, 12-1:30pm, and will be hosted in Alumnae Hall in the Crystal Room. Lunch provided! No registration needed!

This is a one-hour workshop discussing the movies Inside Out & Inside Out 2, and exploring our experiences with emotions.
